PiÑipampa – HuambutÍo Section


(COD: RFT01PH) Along flat tranquil waters, with very gentle rapids through a narrow passage in the valley where there are no roads or villages in sight. Suitable for kids aged three and up. This section can be done at any time of the year but class III rapids may be expected during the rainy season from December to April.

Ollantaytambo - Cachicata Section


(COD: RFT02OCA) This descent begins in tranquil waters, and continues onto the Ollantaytambo rapids, surrounded by Andean terraces, Inca trails and natural rock walls rising above 800 m. Birdwatching and Inca ruins; this section can be done from May to December.

Chuquicahuana Section


(COD: RFT03CHQ) A stretch of continuous Class III to Class IV rapids through a narrow valley; birdwatching and passage through the Chuquicahuana canyon.  A good run at any time of the year, with Class IV and V rapids from November to April.

Urco – HuarÁn I Section
  For families with small kids

(COD: RFT04UH1) Floating along tranquil waters with a stop at the beach to play on the sands and enjoy a snack. Sights include: birdwatching, the Arín waterfall  and the eucalyptus forest of the Huarán community. Suitable for kids ages 3 and up. May be done at any time of the year.

HuarÁn II Section

(COD: RFT05UH2) This is the continuation of the Urco – Huarán I trek. It takes an additional half an hour and comes to an end at the meeting of the Huarán whitewaters, one of the most important of the Urubamba river, with class III and  class IV rapids, depending on the time of the year. It can be done from May to December.
